christmas decorations

This Thanksgiving my mother in law, sisters in law and I all had crafts we worked on while the boys watched football or played with Kutler my nephew. Here are the crafts I did!
I made this tree skirt and it was all no sew! I absolutely love it! My mother in law is making a plaid one that I am ready to see the finished product. My sister in law is also doing one that is red and white that I hope she has time to get it done cause it will look awesome once it is done.

Here is the burlap wreath I also did which I absolutely can't believe I came up with something so cool!
I am sort of obsessed with burlap nowadays. I have super cute christmas ornaments I still need to take pictures of that match all this stuff as well and I will post them in the next few days.

Enjoy!

fall wreath

Instead of studying today this is what I did. Well actually I just finished it today I have been working on it over the past week or so.
This is my fall wreath. It is chocolate brown felt rosettes and fall colored berries. I have been SO excited to finish this one! I love it!!!
Here is a close up of the wreath.

Theses can be made with any sort of colors selections. I have 2 more I have been working on so hopefully by next weekend I will have those closer to being done. 3 tests this coming week so who knows!

Again please let me know if you are interested in buying one or something like these from me. I love doing it and would love to make something for you! Remember Christmas is just around the corner. :)

camo

Here are a few things I made for my nephew Kutler's nursery a while ago.  You have seen his name sign before but here is it hanging on the wall.
And I did his initials in brown and the bright orange.
and I did a camo picture frame with camo paper and buttons.
I think it holds a 4x6 picture.

Enjoy! And Life is SO good! The weather is wonderful and I am getting to wear sweatpants! :)

more fun things!

Here are a few more of my creations! I love making them and if you ever are in the market for one please let me know.
This is a 12 inch wreath made of paper rosettes. This one took me FOREVER to make but I love it so much! so glad I finally got it done!

this is a sign I made for a friend who recently got married. It is 3 foot long by 6 inches wide with off white paper rosettes on the sides.

Here are a couple of picture frames I made as well. I haven't finished the green one yet. I still need to add Hataway to the bottom corner.

There are just a few of the projects I have done. I have a couple more I will share soon.

Here are some of my creations thus far.
This one is in my living room. The rosettes on the sides are old book pages.

Here is the camo one I did for my nephew. It is a brown back ground with hunter orange letters and green trees on the sides.
This is the one I did for my cousin's baby. It has a navy blue background with sports balls on the sides.

All of these were custom done to match the room they were going too. I can do any combo of colors and themes.

Contact me if you are interested or just let me know what you think.

and so it begins....

Today is the day I start blogging. I am not sure if I am going to like this but I have a few things I would like to share with those around me. The past two years have been the best as well as the hardest (maybe I should say stressful) two years I have had.

This next week I will begin my 3rd year of pharmacy school. I am half way done and so thankful to have those first two years behind me. Pharmacy school is hard, trying, and very stressful but has been some of the most rewarding time I have spent. I have made some of the best friends a girl could ask for as well as gotten to experience life in many different pharmacies. My ultimate goal as a pharmacist is to own my own pharmacy and be a compounding pharmacy. After being in an independent pharmacy the past two weeks I know this is where I belong. I look forward to being a pharmacist in two years and seeing where my career takes me.

About a month ago I celebrated one year of marriage to my best friend, Brandon. The past two years of dating, getting engaged, planning a wedding, getting married, and being married have been so much fun and such a huge blessing. My life is full of love because of this man I am proud to call my husband. He is my biggest supporter and can always make me laugh. I thank God everyday because of Brandon and the life we have together.

So the real reason for this blog is because I have started making various crafty things as sort of a stress-relieving activity. I love to be crafty and seem to be very happy when I am in my crafty mode. I started making name signs and unique picture frames. The first one I made was for my nephew Kutler. It was camo and super cute. I made a sports one for my cousin cassie's baby boy Jackson. I have also made a Hataway one for my living room. I am in the process of making more for myself for different seasons and what not.

Many people have complimented my signs and told me I need to sell them. I have went back and forth on this idea because as much as I love doing it I have to been in the crafty mode to be able to come up with ideas. I finally have decided to make them on a small personal scale and do custom jobs for people. Every thing I make will be different in some way and unique for that person. I will post pictures of my signs and frames soon so you can get an idea. I am not needing to make money but would like to share one of my favorite things with those who may be looking for personal gifts or decorations.

Ok I wrote a whole lot more than I thought I would.... I guess I tend to do that. Oh well... it is who I am. Hope you enjoyed.
